Barista Cacao is growing faster than we imagined, now served in 170+ cafés and expanding internationally. We’re looking for an Operations Intern to join the small team that keeps everything running: from production to delivery to improvement. You’ll take over the amazing work done by our current intern Macha. And when she returns back to France, you will work closely with one of the founders, who is currently in charge of Operations, and you’ll see every part of how a young food brand actually works. And yes, that includes literally with your hands in the mix.

Your role
- Be part of our production process, the hands-on side of Reclaem. From blending cacao to preparing orders, you’ll help make sure every bag that leaves the door meets our standards.
- Improve how we work. None of us have decades of experience in food operations (and that’s the fun part). So there’s plenty of room for you to make a difference. By refining processes, introducing structure, or tightening up our approach to things like food safety and consistency.
- Interact with our amazing customers. Cafés, roasteries, and retailers across Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and far beyond Europe. You’ll learn what they need and help us make sure we deliver on that.
You are
- A practical, curious person who likes to understand how things work and make them work better.
- Studying something like Operations, Food Innovation, Business, or Supply Chain or just fascinated by how a physical product brand runs.
- Hands-on: not afraid to lift, move, mix, fix, or organize.
- Eager to learn about food production, process improvement, and food safety standards.
- Friendly and communicative, comfortable talking to cafés and partners.
- Ready to work from our production space in Amsterdam Noord.
