Barista Cacao Starterkit
Everything to begin
Our Starterkit Includes 125g of Barista Cacao, a whisk, a measuring cup, and our signature tin.
Crafted with cacao varieties like Arriba Nacional, known for its bright, floral notes, and Trinitario, offering a fuller, rounder depth.
Each serving contains 1,400–1,600 mg of Chaga, Reishi, and Lion’s Mane. We’ve added these mushrooms first and foremost to balance the flavour. Their natural earthiness softens the cacao’s acidity while also being rich in naturally occurring compounds such as beta-glucans and polyphenols, known for their antioxidant properties.
Each serving contains less than 3 grams of unrefined and organic coconut blossom sugar. Slightly caramel in character. Balanced, not dominant. Just enough to round the blend, never to cover it.
No additives. Naturally low in caffeine. Works with any milk: dairy or plant-based.
Designed for consistency in preparation and depth in flavour. Served hot or poured over ice.
What it's made of
Barista Cacao is crafted with ceremonial-grade cacao from smallholder farms in Latin America. For us, ceremonial-grade means working with the highest quality cacao varieties, traditionally grown in South and Central America, and honouring them by keeping them as close to their natural state as possible: non-alkalised, sometimes raw, never excessively heated, and minimally processed to preserve their natural flavour, character, and nutrients.
Part of our cacao is certified organic, though not every bean in the blend, as certification can be costly for small farmers. What matters to us is how it’s grown: without synthetic pesticides, in balance with the land, and with care for the people behind it.
Ingredients: Cacao (55%), coconut blossom sugar* (22%), mushrooms* (Chaga, Reishi, Lion’s Mane) (11%), coconut milk powder*, cinnamon*, Himalayan salt. *Certified organic.

What is Barista Cacao?
Barista Cacao is our premium cacao drink crafted from the finest ingredients. It combines ceremonial-grade South American cacao with a blend of organic functional mushrooms, organic coconut blossom sugar, organic coconut milk powder, organic cinnamon, and Himalayan salt to deliver a rich, well-balanced beverage.
How is Barista Cacao different from regular hot chocolate?
Barista Cacao starts with an exceptional flavour: rich, complex, and naturally balanced. Using cacao varieties like Arriba Nacional from Ecuador and Trinitario from Venezuela, it offers subtle hints of fruit and flower, a taste that reflects the unique environments where these cacaos are grown.
Unlike traditional hot chocolate, which is often rich, heavy, and contains a lot of sugar, Barista Cacao uses 75% less sugar, sweetened with unrefined organic coconut flower sugar. The result is a drink that’s lighter on the stomach and more refined in flavour.
What truly sets Barista Cacao apart is its barista-driven approach. It’s prepared with milk and poured to create latte art, much like a cappuccino offering a sophisticated alternative to the usual hot chocolate. Whether you prefer dairy or plant-based milk, Barista Cacao is crafted to suit your choice, offering versatility for vegan options as well. Minimal processing techniques preserve the natural flavors and beneficial compounds of the cacao and mushrooms, keeping it true to its essence.
Are there any allergens in Barista Cacao?
Barista Cacao contains coconut, cacao and mushrooms. Please review the ingredient list carefully if you have any food allergies or sensitivities. We strive to keep our products free from artificial additives and common allergens, but cross-contamination can occur during production.
